BRP Expiry as 21-Dec (Not 31-Dec)

Hi All,

My partner's BRP for ILR is expiring on 21-Dec-2024.
I see that there is lot of guidance provided for cards expiring on 31-Dec and moving to e-Visa.
However, nothing mentioned about other cases when it is expiring couple of weeks before 31/12.
Do I need to apply for BRP renewal?
I am assuming that even after renewal the expiry will 31-Dec-2024.
I am confused and would like to get your inputs.

No need for renewal as ALL BRPs will cease on last day of 2024.
Look forward to getting the invitation to evisa during pilot phase of what form and shape HO's full roll out will take.
