Submitting additional evidence after biometrics

Post by qchunawala » Tue Aug 13, 2024 5:11 am

Hi all,

I have submitted my visa-application for a Skilled worker priority visa. While I did self-upload the supporting evidence for myself and my dependent (she is applying for skilled-worker dependent visa) and double-checked it, after attending the biometrics, an element of doubt has crept up in my mind, if I might have missed to submit a(ny) document. This has me super-stressed.

I have gleaned from the Internet that it is not possible to submit any additional evidence at this stage. Would you guys have any comments/suggestions? Do caseofficers/HO reach out, if one has genuinely missed evidence or will my visa application be refused outright? Is is possible to know the list of all evidence submitted along with the application through a paid enquiry?

You read correctly that evidence not submitted post biometrics.
Only possible if requested. If the missing document is material to the application, the guidance to CW ask them to request for it.

Your application would have at some point provided you a list of what to upload in support (though may not be exhaustive).
Can you state what document you are missing?

That's correct. I have the application checklist - and I remember going over the list a couple of times, when self-uploading. I am unable to definitively say, that I missed a certain document.

I made the fatal mistake of not relying on the TLS Contact center to just rescan all my supporting evidence - I would have been anxiety-free in such case.

Do you know, if a UKVI paid enquiry can help share the list of documentation attached with my application?

Apparently, there is a little hack to see the list of documents uploaded/submitted as part of your UK visa application, if you applied through TLS Contact, after attending the biometrics. I now, know, what's on my file.

After logging in via UKVI to the TLS contact application, you just enter the following URL https://selfupload.visas-uk.tlscontact.com/ in your browser. It shows me the list of documents self-uploaded.

Self upload is the most reliable you can get, that TLS personnel does it for you doesn't influence the situation.
You are not sure if you missed any document but anxious, relax and wait for decision on your application.
