Need to disclose employment when not needed for financials?

Post by IanLoveCake » Wed Aug 14, 2024 1:48 pm

Hello,

I'm currently applying for ILR through Set(M). In the past, I didn't have a job and so only needed to fill out employment for my partner. I'm working now, though my spouse's job is still sufficient to cover the financial requirements on their own. Do I still need to disclose my work as part of the financials if its not necessary to meet the requirement?

I ask because I've been having a hell of a time getting the letter from them and it may be easier to just remove all that documentation if I can.

Thanks!

No, it is not required to be disclosed. This is not full disclosure, only declare income you want to rely on
