Passport applications: countersignatures

Post by MuchAdoAboutNothing » Fri Aug 23, 2024 9:06 am

Hello,

Apologies if this has been asked before but can I kindly check if it would be okay if I used the same two referees I had for my naturalisation application as passport countersignatures when it comes to applying for first UK passport?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Yes you can, but you just need one to confirm your identity. Must be the professional referee.

Just a note - it must be a professional referee and also a British citizen.
All advice comes from personal research and experience and should not be regarded as professional opinion.
