I would like to enquire about how many months before I should apply for renewal of minor's Indian passport.

Also, If the passport is due to expire in December 2024 can the minor travel in August 2024 ( coming back to UK from India)?

Hi,

You can apply for a renewal of minor's Indian passport up to a year in advance.
Usually many Stupid / Airports ask for a min of 6 months of Validity in the Passport at the time of travel / departure.

You can use the below link to apply for renewal of Indian Passport from UK

You also need to book an appointment for submitting of the application. you can use the below link for that
