ILR application Ancestry Visa

Post by Abailey14 » Thu Aug 29, 2024 3:43 pm

Hi all,

I am applying for UK Indfinite Leave to Remain via Ancestry Visa route.
I have a question regarding the question below:

Does a relative or friend of you or your spouse or partner (if applicable) regularly give you money?

In a nutshell, I am a sole trader that doesn't have a 'regular income' coming into our joint account however have provided my Self Assesment for work purposes.
My husband is my dependent and has a full time job. His pay is paid into our Joint account where all our expenses come out of, including rent etc.

Would I answer yes and provide his monthly salary as well as providing payslips or is this not required?

This is not required. The route also does not have a financial requirement
