US visa denial on NonEU passport and new Irish passport

Hi all,

Has anyone rejected US visa in the past under their NonEU passport and got their ESTA approved (or had to go through the visa process and approved) after requiring Irish citizenship/passport?

I found some topics about this question in other forums but the outcome is not there sometimes. And of course Irish passport might have a different affect on this, so can anyone share their firsthand or their friends’ experiences on this matter?
