While filling the Renunciation application form in https://indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in/Renounce, I could see the below mandatory fields to be filled.

Could you please suggest, what does these fields refer to. Does the certificate mean Surrender certificate?
what does Section/form mean?

Certificate Date
Certificate Issued By
Certificate Issued Place

Renunciation is no more a step to obtain OCI. High commission stopped accepting Renunciation

The mandatory requirement of Renunciation Certificate for processing of OCI application has been withdrawn.
