Spouce Visa and Financial Requirement

Hello everyone,

I am on spouce visa on a 10 year route. I was granted this visa as I have a British child. This will be my first extension.

However I want to switch on the 5 year route when applying for my extension.

I am some Financial questions.

My wife who is a British citizen receives the following:

-Universal credit
-Child benefit
-Disability living allowance for my British child
-Personal independence payment (PIP)
-Child maintenance payments from the father of her other child.

I am the main carer of my child as my wife is unable to look after her due to her disability.

I also have a part time job which does not meet the income is at least £29,000 a year.

As my wife gets PIP, I do not need to meet a minimum income requirement. However as she gets Universal credit which goes towards paying rent and living expenses, am I able to switch to the 5 year route?

And if I am able to switch, will my already 30 months visa be counted towards the 5 year route or will it be like applying for a new application.
