What was the reason for the refusal of your wife's visitor visa applicationchandmuhammad wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2024 6:40 pmHello, I hope you doing fine. I applied for UK visit visa with my spouse. My spouse wife is rejected two days ago whereas mine is still under consideration. I went to collect my spouse passport at VFS asking about my application they said its still under consideration. Is it normal ? I suspect I might also get rejected. I read alot on this forum but didn't find any similar case. Can someone have some experience or knowledge of it like what could possibly be reason behind this much delay though we submitted biometrics at very same time.
FYI, its been five days since my wife's visa rejection that we got on email.
To be able to understand the verdict, this is they key part. What are we to do with the X's?You state you are unemployed and spend XXXX.XX XXX (£ XXX) per month on expenses.
Being dependent of someone is not an issue for a visit visa application, apparently the issue is that you didn't provide enough - or any - financial evidence to explain this dependency.chandmuhammad wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 7:45 amif you ask me the reason is bizarre she is my wife and unemployed and dependent.
The letter seems to be indicating that you didn't provide any financial evidence for your wife: bank statements, etc. However, with no further information, it is difficult to ascertain how you support yourself daily, and whether you personally have access to these types of funds
Actually it's amount that she spends monthly. Its 300 pounds equivalent to my country currency.
I did submitted all the relevant documentation that includes bank statement, properties documents, car ownership documents.lolo2 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 12:08 pmBeing dependent of someone is not an issue for a visit visa application, apparently the issue is that you didn't provide enough - or any - financial evidence to explain this dependency.chandmuhammad wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 7:45 amif you ask me the reason is bizarre she is my wife and unemployed and dependent.

Are these under your or your wife's name?chandmuhammad wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 12:19 pmI did submitted all the relevant documentation that includes bank statement, properties documents, car ownership documents.
Yes that's All under my name.lolo2 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 12:20 pmAre these under your or your wife's name?chandmuhammad wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 12:19 pmI did submitted all the relevant documentation that includes bank statement, properties documents, car ownership documents.
Now here is more relevant details. Your visa might still be approved because you have a travel history to the UK and very recently expired visa as well. Your visa might most likely be granted. However you spouse has no such history. She has no income yet she spends £300 monthly from where? You've not conveniently explained her source of funds.chandmuhammad wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 12:19 pmI did submitted all the relevant documentation that includes bank statement, properties documents, car ownership documents.lolo2 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 12:08 pmBeing dependent of someone is not an issue for a visit visa application, apparently the issue is that you didn't provide enough - or any - financial evidence to explain this dependency.chandmuhammad wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 7:45 amif you ask me the reason is bizarre she is my wife and unemployed and dependent.

Furthermore, I don't understand why her application got rejected whereas mine still under consideration that bothering me I was the main Applicant.
I didn't mention about my travel history before I am travelling to UK from 2006. My 5 year multiple entry visa for UK just got expired in June 2024 I was just renewing it and applied for my wife also this time around. But they rejected her and mine still in process
That's the issue here.chandmuhammad wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 12:25 pmYes that's All under my name.lolo2 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 12:20 pmAre these under your or your wife's name?chandmuhammad wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2024 12:19 pmI did submitted all the relevant documentation that includes bank statement, properties documents, car ownership documents.
