Italy Schengen Visa appt?

Post by ms1993 » Sat Oct 12, 2024 11:57 am

Hello

We’re looking to travel to Italy at the end of November and are searching for an Italy Schengen visa appt from Manchester. We’re looking via VFS and my partner has paid for a bot. Does anyone have suggestions or tips on how we can secure an appointment for when we want to travel please?

There's no magic way, unfortunately.
You're already tight with time, I'll be honest - visa processing usually takes 2-3 weeks and you don't have an appointment. Unless you have a compelling reason to go to Italy (ie a business trip), chances for an appointment are rather slim.

From personal experience (albeit in Ireland), people were getting appointments in March for November dates; the situation might be better for UK, but I doubt that.

The easiest way (asa a nonEU resident) might be to get a visa appointment first and then travel to the country based on what appointment you got.
Not a qualified immigration adviser. Use links and references given to gain confirmation and/or extra information.

We’re going for a family event so I’m not sure going to another country is an option tbh.
