Hi everyone,
I live in Northern Ireland (Irish citizen and passport holder) and my wife is from the US. We have lived here together since 2016, so more than enough time for her to be eligible for Irish citizenship. Initally we lived with family and we own our home and have been paying off the mortgage now for 4 years. She has worked here since 2018. She currently has indefinite leave to remain/settled status through the EU settlement scheme.
I am currently gathering the proof of residence documentation needed for the Irish naturalisation process, but have a quick question regarding an address issue that I may have.
Her payslips and P60 are addressed to our old place of residence (worth 100 points) ... Her payslips are now received electronically so over the last few years we have totally forgotten to change the address with her employer ... BUT our annual mortgage statement will have the address of our current home (50 points).
I was wondering if the fact that the addresses don't match - will present an issue for the application process?
Many thanks!
