Is it a significant achievement?

Post by i_worker » Thu Apr 29, 2004 2:47 pm

Hi ALL!

I need your advise about signinficant achievement section in HSMP application.
One of projects I worked on in the past, was and is mentioned on Microsoft's site as an example of success story of creating nationwide system using Microsoft's technologies and products. At the time that was one of the largest projects in region.
I was involved in design and development of some key areas of this project.
Based on that, can I claim 15 points for significant achievements?

I think, if your name was quoted in the report on the project, it could be considered a significant achievement, or in any way it would be worth submitting the evidence. Once it's not that direct (i.e., the project was mentioned, and you took part in some of its key areas), it really is for you to know exactly how many people were there with you (i.e., was it a collective or individual achievement), how many of such areas were in the project (how key is key), and so on. Plus there is discretion of the reviewing member of the HSMP team... which makes it all less certain. If you feel strongly about it, claim the points - the worst that'll happen, they'll be deducted from your score.
