Reckonable Residence - Year prior to application not continuous

Post by MichaelTN » Tue Oct 29, 2024 9:44 pm

Hey,

Here is my stamp list:

Oldest Stamp -> 16/07/2018 -> 10/02/2019 - Stamp 4 [210 Days]
2nd Stamp -> 10/02/2019 -> 03/03/2019 - Stamp 4 [21 Days]
3rd Stamp -> 03/03/2019 -> 03/02/2021 - Stamp 4 [703 Days]
4th Stamp -> 03/02/2021 -> 03/03/2024 - Stamp 4 [1124 Days] [Here is where I have 2058 days]
5th Stamp (Current) -> 12/03/2024 -> 05/03/2034 - Stamp 4 [232 Days]

It says:
Year prior to application not continuous
Based on the information entered there has been a break in your permissions in the year prior to the date of application and you have 232 days continuous reckonable residence immediately prior to the date of application you entered.

Has 5 Years Residency
You should ensure that your registration with the Garda National Immigration Bureau is kept up to date during your residency in the State and that your permission stamp(s) cover the year prior to application without any break."

As you can see, for 5th Stamp, there was a gap of 9 days. Yet I applied for the 10 year stamp 4 a while before it expired, and the immigration office even said they received it on 12th Feb (3 weeks before expiration).

Is this a problem? can anyone advise?
Should I just make the start date of my 5th stamp 03/03/2024? Thanks!

Kind regards,

Michael

In that case you should be fine.

Sounds promising, cheers!

I simply must download that form and submit it with the application online right? There's no option for supporting documentation so I'd assume I just choose a random dropdown?

I'm not sure if you need to, I haven't been up to speed with latest requirements.
Others will advise I suppose.

As myself2 suggests, it is no longer a required upload, hasn’t been for some time. The applicant should satisfy themselves they are eligible, but Immigration now uses internal data to check if they believe applicant is eligible on residency.

The required documents are generated in a document provided via link for the applicant when they start their application online. Ignore other lists of documents, they are often outdated.
