Hi,

I want to enquire about the promotion I have been offered

I have recieved 5 year extension on my skilled worker visa its valid until 2028, working as care worker under SOC 6145. But today I was called in office and offered supervisor role and I am a bit concerned if this will change my SOC code ??..I need to speak to my HR properly but doing some online research, the closest SOC code I could find is 1232.

I am not sure if i should accept this role? Can someone please guide me on this?..

SOC 6145 may prevent dependants from extending.

Thanks for asking, I should have written on behalf of my brother, i have got ILR approved now.

His dependants have also got 5 years extension early this year, valid until 2028 on SOC 6145

what do you think about this new role?..will it change SOC code then?
