Will i receive eVisa if I Apply ROA within the UK now?

Post by frey3381 » Tue Nov 19, 2024 4:54 pm

Hi Board,

Just wondering what will happen if i apply for the ROA visa right now?

I am currently in the UK and if i apply for ROA visa, i get a BRP card or eVisa instead or a paper one stick on my passport?

Also, if i am given an sharecode, will it show the visa type if share code is used to verify via gov website?

many thanks

eVisa is for persons holding immigration visas or ILR status. ROA is not an immigration visa.
ROA is for British citizens not holding a British passport.
The evidence of ROA will be affixed/stamped into the foreign passport.
British citizens are not issued sharecodes. Best to apply for BP once in the UK.

If you live in the UK you can also apply for a British passport directly. Are you a British citizen already?
