I've recently received my British passport, but on January 1st, I am moving to France to pursue my master's degree. Since the surrender and renunciation processes are lengthy, I was wondering if I can surrender and renounce my Indian citizenship in France and then proceed with my OCI application there as well, as I will be in France for a year.
I have read that I can use my Indian passport during the 3 month grace period but could not find any details on its terms and conditions. I would appreciate it if the forum could share their experiences and confirm if it's okay to do so.
Moreover, I need my Indian passport to enter France as my study visa is in my Indian passport and when I show my visa to immigration, should I get the entry stamp in my British or Indian passport? (I assume British, but please confirm.) Thanks!
