Tier 1 to ILR

Post by yash121 » Wed Apr 24, 2024 10:45 am

Hello
I am so grateful for the help I have received on this platform and successfully applied for Tier 1 and then the Tier 1 extension.
I will be applying for the ILR in October 2024, so Please can you share your views on below point.

1) Employee A is an old employee with the company who's job role was used to get the Tier 1 extension and after the Tier 1 ext he remained with the company for 13 months. There was an accounting mistake made by the accountant as the employee was getting the old salary from April 2023 to August 2023, I noticed the mistake and got it corrected in the Sep 2023 payslip including paying him the extra amount which he should have got since April 2023 minimum wage rise.

Now, UKVI will accept this and will count these 5 months as full time employment or can make an issue?

Tier 1 to ILR (SET O) help

Post by yash121 » Mon Dec 09, 2024 3:16 pm

Hello everyone
I am so grateful for the help I have received on this platform. I am applying for the ILR and the below question is a bit confusing for me because the first time I entered in the UK was in Feb 2019 under the prospective ent visa route, my Tier 1 ent application was accepted in Sep 2019 so please can you suggest that what date I should use for the below question.

1) First Time entered in the UK
"This is the date you entered the UK when the period of stay you are basing this application on started."

That question is not important. The decision is not based on that date at all, so enter the date you first entered the UK

Hello
Please can you share the information / views on below

1) When I am trying to submit my ILR application, it is only showing me the standard processing which can take unto 26 weeks however I am wondering why the priority/ super priority service is not available for my application as I think the priority service is available for Tier 1 ent to ILR applications.

Hello
Thanks for your response.

I checked on the UKVI website and it shows that under this category the "UKVCAS appointment: within 5 working days"

I hope that someone from the senior team will response for the clarity.

Expect the same answer from senior members too,

100% there is no priority or super priority for your category, unless you are applying through GTV

Also its not UKVCAS anymore, its TLS connect now

UKVI letter

Post by yash121 » Thu May 01, 2025 5:29 pm

Hello Everyone
I have applied for Tier 1 ext to ILR in December 2024 and today I have received an email from the UKVI requesting below proof. I have the UTR and PAYE letter with the reference issued in 2019 so shall I provide these letters or I should request the HMRC for new letters. UKVi requested these documents in 28 days which is surprise as last time it only gave me 10 days to upload my documents .

1) Evidence that your business is registered with HMRC for the purposes of both corporation tax and PAYE

Those letters you have showing UTR and the PAYE registration should be enough
