December 2024 Citizenship Ceremonies Naturalisation Certificates

I know ceremonies happened only a few days ago, but probably worth opening a topic around the December 2024 ceremony certificates so people can discuss.

Thanks! I was also wondering, when to realistically expect to recieve the citizenship certificate? And is there is a way to know its number before recieving it so I can kickstart naturalization of my child? Any insights would be much appriciated!

AS this is Christmas period, pls expect the certificates in Jan (2nd week or 3rd week).

you have to wait until you receive the Certificate physically to know the cert number

Announcements at the ceremonies said assume 8 weeks delivery time. The dept has never beaten their estimates before- usually other way round- so I’d guess Feb to March. You won’t know cert number until you receive it.

I got mine this morning. My ceremony was Dec 3rd. So yours should also be very soon. This was so quick, better than expected.

I got Naturalisation Certificate this morning, eventhough it was register post, Post man left it at my door. Make sure to check your post boxes. Wish you all Good Luck.

Mine was also delivered this morning, up here in Northern Ireland. I was also at the 2/12 ceremony.

First of all, congratulations to everyone who has received their certificates! It seems the office acted quickly for the December ceremonies. However, I still haven’t received mine. I attended the Killarney Ceremony on December 2nd (at 5 pm) and I am based in Dublin. I was wondering if anyone else is still waiting for theirs or if it's just me?

Hey, I don't have the answer to your question but hope you'll get your cert soon Can I just ask something about the ceremony, I got my invitation for the upcoming ceremony that's taking place in Dublin, it starts at 1 but I have to be there at 12 for registration. Can you tell from your experience if they're very strict on that, do people wait in a queue for the registration so if I'll be there at 12:15 (due to work commitment) would you think this will be fine? A Post has been extremely slow on some of the registered mails in certain areas. It’s not unusual to take 2-3 weeks for certain registered mails to get to their destinations.

The previous ceremony will start at 11am and should finish by 12pm. That’s when the next group will be allowed to start their registration. It should also be stated in the invitation that you are requested ‘not to arrive before your scheduled registration time’. 12:15 is fine. Just try not to arrive too late.
