Which form - Family Member as a partner on the 10-year

Post by rebah » Thu Dec 26, 2024 5:03 am

It stated this on letter when i go my visa

You have been granted permission to stay in the UK under the
Immigration Rules for Family Member as a partner on the 10-year route to
settlement.

You meet the requirements of the partner 10-year route becauseit would not be
reasonable to expect your children to leave the UK

Now i have been in Uk for 10 year and want to apply for settlement

Which form catergory and for do I use?

Thanks

Can I ask what the difference between this and SET (LR) long residence method.

The long residence form seems less questions and easier

SET(LR) is for the long residence route. Different routes with different requirements.

For people like yourself, I suggest the 10-year family route. The long residence route has gone through some significant changes recently. You can read about these changes here:https://www.immigrationboards.com/viewt ... 7#p2171106

At the end of the day, the choice is yours.
