British Citizenship after ILR

Post by Nayel » Wed Jan 01, 2025 10:53 am

Hi all,
I have the ILR starting from 19-01-2024.
Please,
1- which form to use for citizenship, and if you send the link please?
2- can I apply now or should wait till 19-01-2025?
3- about the referee, is one of them should be my employer? as i don't have the employer with three years employing?

thank you very much in advance.

Form AN Guidance: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... n-guidance
Online form AN1: https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... onality-an

If you are married to a British citizen you can apply now. If not you need to complete 12 months from ILR grant.

Doesn't have to be from employer. Refer to pages 23-25 for suitable professions: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... als_v4.pdf. Can be friends, neighbours, etc as long as they have known you for at least 3 years.
