Please everyone , have got a question .
Am filling MN1 form for my daughter who is born in the year 2023 and the form is asking for 5 years address history of her .
Secondly, they are asking for 2 reference.... Can I use a friend who is British citizen as the child has not started school yet and the GP is not willing to give his personal details

Clearly, daughter isn't 5 years yet and caseworkers will realise that (form is for children up to 18!).
Just fill the form with your address - if it insists on filling in 5 years' history.

Have you reviewed the MN1 guide? Please refer to the Referees section: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... n#referees
Referees for adults will be accepted as long as they know the child and you explain why you couldn't get appropriate referees. UKVI are familiar with the issue.

The last question.. They are asking for thr child Nationality? She was born in the UK , I'm the child father and I hold Nigerian passport . Does that make her Nigerian aswell ?
Should I pick Nigerian as her Nationality?
Please advice .
The 2 reference am getting are ....
(1) occupational therapist , she hold a British Passport .
(2)She's a registered Nurse but doesn't hold British passport . But she's a resident .
Do you think that's OK please ?

Child is Nigerian because of parent, for this purpose. Being born in the UK has no bearing in this and is not an issue.
The referees sound ok.

Hi everyone...
I Was about to submit the MN1 application for my child who was born in the UK and has only got the UK birth certificate.
One of the document which was asked to submit with the application is her Nigeria passport or identification from Nigeria.
She does not have any document issue from Nigeria .
Please advice on what to do please .

Then submit just the birth certificate.
You can't provide what you haven't got.
There may be a space on the form to explain, else attach a note about this with the other documents.
This is not an issue.

I'm about to submit the MN1 application for my daughter .
At the end of the application, I saw a consent form which should be filled and attached with the application .
Please which one should I fill ? The father and my wife should fill the mother .
Or should we fill the father and mother and also fill the guardian ?
The guardian got me confused please .

Father and mother!

Guardian not applicable in your case. A guardian is normally someone who is responsible for the child instead of the parents.

Thanks for all you have been doing, I really appreciate.
My daughter birth certificate came in and I was about to apply for a passport for her .

There is a place which stated document to send.
( 1 ) Neutralisation certificate, which i have that and secondly....

( if this applies, any court orders relating to the child (for example that describe parental responsibility or residency arrangements)
If you don’t have parental responsibility, also send the following:
a signed and dated letter from the mother (or other person with parental responsibility) giving consent for the issue of the child’s new passport.)

I don't understand the second part please , can you put me through on what document to send for this it not important ?

Does any of this apply to you?
- If there's no court order relating to the child there's nothing to submit - I assume there is no court order.
- If you and your wife have parental responsibility for the child there's nothing to submit - I assume you have the joint responsibility.

This is for child's passport?
If that's all they are asking then yes.
I'm surprised they are not asking for child's birth certificate
