Hi Everyone.
Background:
1. I moved to the UK in April 2019 on Tier 2 General Visa with my wife. We had a child in 2022 here in the UK.
2. As I was planning to move back to India, I got an extension on my visa until October 2024 but ended up applying for an ILR/settlement in October due to some change in circumstances.
3. My ILR/Settlement application has been successful and I received confirmation on it in January this year.
4. I created eVisa accounts for all three of us using BRP and the eVisa shows correct details.
Problems:
1. As I am planning to travel in March, I am linking our passports to the eVisa as somehow when I attempt to login using passport, the website is asking me to relink the eVisa and repeat the identity verification checks via the mobile app.
2. I tried using the "update details" service to add passport details. It worked for me and my wife and passport details are shown but when I did it for my child, it gives an error saying that the passport details cant be added as they already exist.
What have I done so far?
1. I reached out to the support team via the numbers provided. They asked me to use the support chat on their website.
2. I reached out to the support team via the chat but they could not resolve it. They ended up creating an incident report internally but I dont have any communication in relation to it or any update shared so far
2. I also created a help request via the website but I have not received any response for that as well.
What do I want to know
1. Can I go ahead and plan my travel?
2. Is there anything else I can do to resolve it?
