hello, today I got email saying my biometrics have been received and my case is with the casework team. What does that mean for british citizenship

It means what it says, biometrics received and application with caseworkers team .... wait now for up to 6 months for the decision. They may or may not contact for further information (rare). Note you won't get progress updates.
