Earliest date of eligibility - ILR

Post by PaxInvictus » Thu Feb 06, 2025 1:58 pm

Hi all

I switched from a Tier 4 (student) visa to Tier 2 in January 2021.

- CoS assigned: 15 January 2021;
- Start Date (Employer): 29 January 2021
- UKVI application submitted: 19 January 2021;
- Biometrics: 17 February 2021;
- Email from Home Office Atlas, iterating visa approval: 03 March 2021;
- 1st BRP issue date: 15 March 2021;
- 1st BRP expiry date: 12 February 2023;
- 2nd BRP issue date: 07 February 2023;
- Leave to remain granted until: 26 February 2026.

Cognisant of the Covid-related concessions (for applications made between 24 January 2020 - 30 June 2021), I was wondering what is the earliest date I can utilise to count towards the 5 years (-28 days) period for SWV route?

Many thanks!
