Asking attended ceremony date

Post by Jan07 » Sat Feb 22, 2025 4:24 pm

Hi All, I have received an email from Citizenship.Support@homeoffice.gov.uk, asking date attended my Citizenship Ceremony? I don’t know why? The email seems legitimate but my ceremony was was done in 2020, they must have recorded of it.

Any advice or experience please

Never heard of this.
But just answer it, just tell the date.
The address looks legit.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

Perhaps they were doing a sweep of their database and ran into some sort of error. Data loss can happen, or maybe the council failed to relay to them that you attended.
No harm in giving them the date :)
