i arrived in UK with my 10 month old son on Jan 2019, as a dependent of ILR person.
My husband was ILR holder and got naturalised as british citizen in 2020.
My son and i got ILR on July 2024, can you please advise when can my son and i apply for naturalisation? Do we have to wait until July 2025? Also can you confirm what form should be filled for naturalisation?

You both can apply now - fill in the form for yourself
https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... onality-an then at the end you will have the option to add an extra application for your child. For your child which I assume was born outside the UK you need to select option "at the discretion of the Home Secretary". Remember to review the guidance for both applications

Fees may increase after the 5 April, last time there was a fee hike it was in October. However for a few years fees didn't increase. It's impossible to guarantee what the fees will be or when they will go up.

Hi Team
I am filling naturalisation application on the back of ILr I received in July 2024
I have two questions:
1. I gave IElTS in 2019 as part of mu dependent application and have C1 rating i understand i can use same test. O have UKVI number on IELtS. I received iElts certificate. can i choose option that i received my ielts result online and give this reference?
2. It says in application ‘have you applied for immigration to UK before’. To answer this question do i need to invlude details of my ILR application that i made in 2024?
You help is highly appreciated

Yes, also upload the online certificate you received.

Yes, as well as all previous visa applications that led to settlement.
You help is highly appreciated

Thanks for answering above questions
I have few more questions:
1. It says for my child (7 years old) i have to arrange a referee who knows my child in professional capacity. We are struggling to get reference from GP or teacher. What should we do?
2. It is asking me to provide proof of my parental responsibility? What are acceptable documents? Is birth certificate sufficient?
3. Proof of living in UK for 5 years? What proof should i provide would it be ok if i send them my passport page which shows entry stamp in UK when i forst arrive ?

this is a well known issue. Use a family friend who works in a recognised profession and explain in a cover letter
2. It is asking me to provide proof of my parental responsibility? What are acceptable documents? Is birth certificate sufficient?
full birth certificate with your names and surnames
3. Proof of living in UK for 5 years? What proof should i provide would it be ok if i send them my passport page which shows entry stamp in UK when i forst arrive ?
if you are a visa national yes

Thanks very much for the help and guidance
Sorry to clarify for point 3
I came over from Pakistan in 2019 under Dependent of ilr person. My husband had ILR at that time. So to prove i have lived in UK for 5years should i give them my passport stanps of in and out of UK or gove any utility bills etc.
Should i also explain my evidence in cover letter?
For first point where we are looking to get referee for child should i also provide evidence that we tried to reach out to GP or head teacher for reference?
