So you ignored the advice given above and instead applied for settlement (ILR) based on some incorrect advice you got over email.
Why settlement ??? As you are NOT settled, the child also cannot be granted settlement, which is what the refusal letter says.
Just to clarify, I need to apply for a dependent visa first and then inform them that I am a refugee under the protection route. What type of visa will they be granted, considering that my wife is on an FLR(M) spouse visa? Also that email was from the home office so I don't understand why they would give me wrong information.

you are correct I am not settled but on a protection route visa. However the home office guideline states that i have to apply for something called leave in line. Which then i emailed the leave in line and that's when they told me to apply for the settlement application.

They were wrong and you are wrong. I already provided advice on this to you and showed you which application you need to file. You seem to be uninterested in the advice here. The child can even easily be issued leave in line with your spouse. The advice you received over the email was clearly wrong. UKVI does not take responsibility for bad or incorrect advice at all. There is no official channel to get immigration advice from them anyway :!:
Advice is given based on my personal research and experience only. Do NOT contact me via private message for immigration advice

Okay, I will apply for the dependant visa. Also, is it necessary to show more income than 18,600? do i have to show payslips again because I'm currently on a 18,600 salary?
