Please help regarding post-study work visa

Post by hanna » Mon Jan 12, 2009 7:33 pm

Hi all, please give me some advise. We have recently applied for the PSW,my husband as a student and me and our son as his dependants. But Im not sure what result we are going to get.The thing is that we applied in july 2008.We send all the documents, then later on we received a letter saying that they were considering our application form.3 months later we called them and they told us that they lost our application form,so we had to reapply!I was hoping that they would take in consideration the ammount of time we had waited, but I was wrong. We are still waiting.Back in July we were told that 800 pounds was enought to be qualified, but today I read that the applicant must have extra 533 pounds for each dependant. And we had only 1620 instead of 1822 or something. Is it something I have to worry about? If yes is there anything can be done?We have a savings account, can we send a statement to the HO?Any advise would be appriciated.Thank you.Hanna

I am sure u can use the savings a/c statement, other than that if you have all the evidence an the fault was with HO, they lost your application nd not you, so I guess you can stick this out and win over it. Good luck
