Pssspot Form and Counte Signature for child

Hi,

I need to apply for First British Passport for my child born in India, We both husband and wife are British Naturilized citizens , My question is what Application form I need to use for applying first british passport online / Paper ? and send to VFS ? and how does the counter signatory works , Do I need to send the filled application form to someone in UK for signature ?

Appreciate if someone can answer this .

You can apply online and it should give you all the instructions you need.

Have you tried filling in the online form? It gives you all the instructions you need once you specify your child was born in India https://www.passport.service.gov.uk/ove ... hild/india

Thanks for your reply , if you say child born outside UK and first british passport , It will ask to fill out papper form .

Hi All ,

We both parents are Naturlized British Citizens , Our son was born last month in India , In supporting documents section A , It's asking for Baby supporting documents , A photo ID ..
We don't have any photo documents as such . We only have child birth certificate and hospital records / antenatal records . Can anyone please advise on this .

I'm applying from India , Child is born in India to British Citizen Parents ,
So I need to fill out the paper application form and Submit in VFS .

Submit what you have and explain child doesn't have a photo ID because they are a newborn.
