Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding financial requirements for applying for spouse visa. So my wife is working as TA here in the UK and also working part time in the same school for school club as well. So she is is doing 2 jobs for the same employer. Also she is a freelancer and working an online job. She does cooking as self employed in the weekends as well and registered as a business. So to fulfil the spouse visa financial requirements, we have to combine both employed and self employed income. My question is that while filling the SA302 for self assessment for self employment , does she has to give net employed income or gross? We asked one solicitor and he said that because you are combining both employed and self employed income then you have to combine net income of both. Is this true? As far as I have read, while combining employed and self employed income, Gross income of employed and net profit for self employed is combined. Is this true? Can anyone guide me? Is my solicitor is right? Please guide me.
