Hi,
I am currently on skilled worker visa which was approved on 29th May 2022 for 3 years, due to be expired on 18th Aug 2025.
I was on intra-company transfer migrant( ICT Tier-2) visa then got sponsored to get skilled worker route from my current employer. The COS given by the employer had visa category route - Skilled Worker (Changes of Employment - ISC liable) and I received approved skilled worker visa on 29th May 2022.
Now when my visa extension process initiated I learned from Company solicitor that I was gives wrong COS when switch happened and permission granted. Solicitor found that I should have had COS of category - Skilled Worker (Switching immigration category – ISC liable).
My queries are -
------------------
1. is this a compliance issue? will it ultimately be held against me when it comes to a future ILR application?
2. Will this past 3 years counts towards my ILR application(5 years)?
3. What I should do to correct it before I can apply for an extension?
Thank you in advance!
