I think you should apply for another one. Virtually everything expires after 10 years ( Drivers license, Passport). Even though the status NTL hasn't expired, the means to prove that status would lapse.ederson231 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 21, 2025 2:31 pmThe BRP came with an expiry date ten years after the date it was issued to them which is also reflected in the evisa. I know ILE does not expire and there is no error with the dates. If there were still BRPs an NTL application would need to be submitted. I wish to know whether this is the same with evisas or will it update automatically.
Thanks
Having to apply for NTL again and again defeats the purpose of an eVisa system. If an eVisa ends up matching the expiry of an old document, then everyone who had a ILR BRP with an expiry date of 31 Jan 2024 should have an expired eVisa which makes no sense. UKVI in fact allows people with expired ILR BRP to apply for an eVisa. As ILR has no expiry date, someone with settled status should not have an eVisa with an expiry dateederson231 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 21, 2025 2:31 pmThe BRP came with an expiry date ten years after the date it was issued to them which is also reflected in the evisa.
