UKVCAS admitted the Biometric information had issues being seen on their system, so they could not approve the application in time. So, they told me I would get a refund of £1,000 Super Priority Fee. Waiting for this now.

Due to flying out in a week, it seems impossible now as there has been no response yet.

I decided not to go for Super-Priority at the submission stage as it wasn't super urgent. I have seen on this thread that some applicants who applied using the standard service (same visa category—spouse ILR) had their decisions by 27 days, 45 days, 57 days, and 65 days after Biometrics submissions. This made me guess that these all are straightforward applications like mine and won't take more than 8,9 weeks even though the HO Standard is 6 months.

I miscalculated the timings and made the wrong decision not to go for Super-priority service.

A Bit of advice for anyone planning to apply and travel within 3 months: no matter how straightforward your application is, don't take the risk as I did. Go for the Super-Priority service to prevent disappointments.
