Hi. I didn't receive any reply from home office. I called them again today and they did follow up on my previous escalation.

They said I should here from them within 7 working days.

It's is so unfair. I have given all medical proof but they don't understand the pain we are going through.

Hopefully we will hear from them this week.

Hi mine approved today just waiting for passport to return . They will be checking all the proofs and evidence you provided hopefully you hear good news soon .
What time did you receive the approval email. Waiting is killing me

Home Office are really not understanding, I think a petition should be signed to look at applications within 6 months , no certainty. I have 4 children to look after facing eviction. Nothing has been done.
i agree, I spoke with my local mp other day , he outrightly said , the home office is crap. he told me many cases dating back 2 -3 years, god knows whats going on in the office...... sounds like they just sitting their watching tiktok videos , they say is by application order, well, i applied 1 year ago, and many applications after me got approved or there result within 3 month period so cant be order issue, by law they suppose to give you digital 3c leave which they havent done, they told be depends complextiy of the case , well this is my last visa extension , thy have granted me 3 times prevoiusly so cant be that complex, all my files are on the system, and the standard waiting time is just ridiculous , when your coming from aboroad into the uk applications takes 3 week -8 week period , but if you apply in the uk you be waiting until the end of times, for sure after get this a approval im going to file a judicail review and take them to court for causing me so much stress and diffuclty whilst waiting

It is absolutely shambles I can’t even work at present. Some people on here applied within 2 months they got granted. Same auto email we are checking with government departments I have been granted 3 times no difficulties. How do they expect people to leave this is not human behaviour. I didn’t apply with fee waiver , paid with my own hard earned money. Now I can’t work because I can not get 3 c. After this week I will write a letter to the Starmer because the M P has really done her best.

sometimes you just have to make some noise , i emailed my mp and all other mps lol ,i also email starmer the granny harmer lol, coz there are some who works for home office directly, i get replied sorry your not the constiuent please contact your local mp lol , but only after doing that i got a direct repsonse about my case within a few weeks saying its under consideration. They asked me to provide loads of information for the application which involved me getting in contact with many various departments and athourities, medical records, hrmc, bank statemnts, employment ,dbs, unis, my whole life biography, even though they seen it 3-4 times already , if i can gather all that within a few weeks ,why does it take them a decade , im going to request again freedom of information act to see my files, i requested few times before, even though they black out private notes there some hints to see where your application is at, just have to read it thoroughly , and it affects everyone , my mum, my daughter always asking whats going on , cant get a job , it has a ripple effect, but good luck man, maybe god have other plans for us, coz this is certainly is a mental test to hold your own and be patient , and if you can do that , you can become the next jeff bezos lol

Lost in the system, I get what you are saying absolutely . God may have bigger plans I don’t see why you think people are able to manage their household, I believe it’s frustrating people so that you give up!I wrote another email to local MP but haven’t got a reply yet. To get through this stress , uncertainty is not easy, and when I call the homeoffice agents are clueless and immigrants like me.

Hi Everyone,

FLR - FP - First Time application based on 7-Year-old Child ILR

I requested the Home Office to escalate my case and expedite the visa application process due to compassionate grounds. They escalated my case three times in one month, and I received the following email yesterday.

(Thank you for your request to expedite your application. In view of the exceptional circumstances raised, we have prioritised your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.)

Based on your experience and knowledge, how long will Home Office take to make a decision now?

Thank you

I require expedite on the basis of compassionate ground(My Mother in law is unwell) hence they have prioritised my Application.

My question is how long would it take after they prioritise our application on compassionate Ground?

Thank you

Hi, I applied for FLR FP on 22/12/2024 and I completed my biometrics on 06/01/2025.

1) I did not receive any email confirming that they have received my documents, I saw on the thread that others received an email as such. Is this a normal occurrence?

2) How can I prove my immigration status, I literally can’t find a way to prove right to work or residency which I need for various things. I thought while awaiting a decision we are deemed to be on the same terms are the previous visa.

Any guidance would be great!
i am in the same boat as you , have you received or heard back at all from them?
