Excess application fee being shown

I am trying to extend my partner and son visa as dependents while I am on skilled worker visa valid till 01-01-2026. In the application I passed my visa start date as 19-12-2022 and end date as 01-01-2026. Same details for work start and end date. Which means literally I am applying for less than 1 year. But the visa fee I was asked to pay is 3572 for both dependants, while ihs been charged correctly for 1 year. Kindly suggest me what shall I do here ?

I m facing the same issue, did you pay excess amount and did they refund later ? please advice
