Please help !!! No surname on Indian passport and First time British Passport application

British Passport application processing more than 8 weeks now

First email received: 17th Feb 2025, requested a renewed foreign passport due to a name mismatch.
Talked to the advice line, explaining that there is no name mismatch. Instead, first and last names are printed under Given Name. and a foreign passport cannot be renewed since they do not support dual citizenship. Then the customer agent advised submitting a 'Change of Name by Deed' document.
After that I haven't received any response/acknowledgment.
After that I submitted 'Change of Name by Deed' with payslip and bank statements along with Indian passport surrender application form and covering letter explaining everything.
But no response so far and whenever I contacted them they keep on saying its standard check going on and waiting for response from UKVI. I am planning to travel this week. Also raised complaint with Complaint office to look into the delay. Please let me know if anything else can be done from my part to expedite this.

Call the helpline and ask to speak to a senior manager. Explain all the timeline and delays and the stress this is causing you.

I tried calling them evveryday, but they are not transferring call to senior manager at all. Raised online complaint and sent copy of complaint to passport office as well.
They all are giving the same reply 'waiting for response from UKVI'

Unfortunately I don't have any better advice except to try to keep calling and say you need to travel urgently.

I called them multiple times yesterday and after making multiple requests received call back from Customer Service Management Team. But he was not understanding my situation and keep on repeating the same explanation that 'they are waiting for response from UKVI' . Untill case worker get any response they won't be able to help it and customer service management team can't nudge Case worker about urgency when I make mulitple calls. Basically no help from the Customer Service Management Team. Other than reflecting the notes made by case worker they are not able to expedite the process at all.

I'm sorry that they couldn't help. I don't know what else to suggest beyond lodging a complaint.

Update:
Finally, I received my passport on April 5th. Not exactly clear about how the process for expedited since I have been calling them multiple times on a daily basis, raised complaints through all the comms available, and also reached out to the local MP.
