You don't need payslips or work contract from the EU citizen but you will need proof of your partner's address in Ireland and possibly copy of the PPSN card of letter.
Thank you @Angel99
I mean my own payslip or working contract in France. Am the one joining my partner in Ireland.

You don't need that.
You just need evidence of cohabitation for atleast 2 years, colour copy of your passport/ID and partner's, proof of residence in Ireland, partner's PSC or PPSN letter, and your one way reserved flight ticket.

This is an emergency can you please answer as fast as you can ?
So the appeal office answered on my appeal they said I need to provide the landlord letter and utility bills in name of my wife, we already provided a letter from her sister stating she is living with her but they asked about tenancy agreement in her name or letter from landlord, also bank statement of everyday transactions which we can provide easily, but there is no gas bill in her name there is only Vodafone bill.
if I provided a letter from landlord and bills from Vodafone and everyday transactions will that be enough ?
if you can add anything please say it. they gave me 7 days to send them documents per email.

If I explained to them that she is living with her sister and provided everyday payments of Tesco etc. that would be enough ?

Just hope they will expedite the application. Though some people got theirs 1 - 2 months. Majority are issued by 6 months - 1 year.

If it's urgent best was moving to another EU country then move back to Ireland with your spouse at the same time when she receives her EU- residence card.

Or just be patient.
I just got an answer of refusal of the visa, because I didn't submit the evidence of relationship.
and proof of my wife residing in ireland.
Can you please help me to make the appeal ?
Hi silentghost13,
First of all, I’m sorry to hear that your application was rejected. However, I’m not entirely surprised, as the majority of applications are often rejected on the first attempt, sometimes on unfounded grounds.
That said, if you prepare a strong appeal based on facts rather than emotions, there is a good chance the decision could be reversed, and you may be granted a visa.
I have experience helping many people with their appeals, so if you’re interested, I’d be happy to assist you. Let’s discuss this further in private.
Hello can we speak in private regarding my appeal for the eutr visa ?

Hi Everyone,

I'm the spouse of EU national and we moved to Cork in February 2025. I was on Short Stay Visa C single entry - Join EU Family. I've been following this page for a while and have been so anxious about the EUTR1 process. I need the temporary stamp so I can travel in and out of the country & to find work.

My Timeline
Date of Application sent: 12 Mar 2025
Received DOJ letter asking for more docs: 1 Apr 2025 (letter dated 29 Mar 2025)
Requested docs sent: 3 Apr 2025
Date of Stamp 4 received:
Date of final approval or refusal:
If refused Reason for refusal:

I've also booked my GNIB appt which will be in early June 2025.
I'm not sure if the letter asking for more document is the same as acknowledgement letter, if anyone can share? Will they give me an acknowledgment after I sent further requested docs?
So far we'll have provided ALL the checklist documents.
We have been legally married for 4 years, will they still be asking for more proof later on and what kind? I saw some of the posts they actually asks for more document after receiving temporary stamp?

Thank you in advance.

@ciaobellaciao.
Hi,

The first letter you received is the acknowledgment.
If they didn't ask for more evidence of relationship then they won't.

Hi All,

I finally got my approval for Irish Residency today. My timeline;

EUTR1A Application: 03/08/2024
EUTR1A Rejection: 15/04/2024
Appeal: 15/05/2024
Approval: 20/12/2024

Only thing I’d like to ask is, on the letter it says since I have never registered any kind of stamp before I need to book appointment at immigration for getting the residency card. The thing is, I’ve already had stamp in Ireland (Stamp 2 twice). In this case should I apply online or still need to book an appointment?

Thank you.

Hi there, could I ask what did you end up doing?
I'm in quite similar situation stamp 2 once and stamp 1G twice. Thanks!

You already have residency in the state so you just renew online with the new permission letter.
