For now yes. But each of them is independent that property owner.
Don't confuse, please. Applicant and referee lives on different addresses. The question was different.contorted_svy wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 9:57 amThen it is not suitable. Referees must live at a different address than the applicant.
Called to the citizenship and nationality enqueries, one person said that this unmarried Partner is counting as a relative, second said they don't know this information and suggested the Immigration advisor..... So how is it?contorted_svy wrote: ↑Thu Apr 03, 2025 10:37 amApologies, I had misunderstood the structure. As cousin and referee are not married this should be OK.
You'd need to be physically present in the UK on either 8th April 2020 (if applying under Section 6(1) - the normal route) or 8th April 2022 (if applying under Section 6(2) - as the married spouse or civil partner of a British citizen).

The requirement is for you to be physically present at the start of the five year period that ends on the date of application.

So If I am applying as a 5 years regular applicant and I don't have British spouse, then only ONE date applies to me? which is 08.04.2020? yes
One more question please. Which is as well very confusing to me.
450 days absence in 5 years. And 270 days absence in 3 years.
If I am applying as a 5 years regular applicant. How are they going to check my absences?
Only 450 days per 5 years? Only 450 days in 5 years.Or 450 days in 5 years AND 270 days in 3 years?
Thank you.

You can use a picture taken by yourself if it respects the requirements of a passport picture (you can take a larger digital picture and crop it).

Scanning it would be better.Anna55 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 4:28 pmcontorted_svy wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 4:03 pmThis is the form https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... on_MN1.pdf

Will I be able to take a picture of the signed Referee Declaration to upload it straight to the government website or will I need to scan it somehow before uploading?
Anna55 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 1:53 pmHello everyone. Can someone help me please
Can you explain please the document providing procedure?
It says: "You will be able to upload COPIES of your documents on our commercial partner's provider.
1.What does they mean by COPIES? Photo pictures from my phone or Scans? I mean, can I just take a picture of the document and upload?
Scan to PDF is the normal approach.
2. If I will take a photo pictures instead of scanning the documents, can my documents be rejected just because of this?
No as long as documents are legible. Ideally use PDF format and scan.
3.Does they ask you to send your passport to them? And for how long?
NO
4. Can the applicant travel abroad for short holiday after applying for British Citizenship? Can the trip affect the decision about citizenship?
Thank you. YES / NO
Why not needed? Payslips and P60 are the only proof I have been living in the Uk for about 5 years (They don't accept Bank statements and Bills).contorted_svy wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 3:41 pmWhat documents are you planning to upload? Payslips are not needed. Best to upload all necessary evidence on the biometrics portal (note I said only necessary evidence, don't worry about additional things).
