Need inputs regarding UK Skilled worker visa -ECCTIS

Post by NamJad » Mon Apr 21, 2025 11:08 pm

Hi All,

I already hold Skilled Worker Visa in the UK. Few days back my spouse has received a job offer with sponsorship, and we are planning for her skilled worker visa application as well.

She has done her Bachelors(B.E.) and Masters in Engineering(M.E.) from India. We plan to use "Medium Of Instructions" document issued by her university certified through ECCTIS to prove her English language eligibility criteria. I did Bachelors only, so there was no confusion for my application. The query is below,
Would we need to get her "Medium of Instructions" documents for both Bachelors(B.E) and Masters (M.E) certified through ECCTIS for the visa application, or only her most recent education, i.e. Masters would be enough? Both of these courses were taught in "English only".

The reason being that ECCTIS would charge separately for certifying both of these documents, and if only most recent one will be sufficient for visa application, I want to avoid extra work + ECCTIS fees.

    Thanks !
