Visa Visa Query - show pregnancy or not

Post by Mohan321 » Sun Apr 27, 2025 9:20 am

Hi,
My wife is due in mid August 2025.
We are looking to apply for a visit visa for my Mother in Law to arrive at the end of June for 2-3 months.
She has been once before and returned back on time.
We will be only showing that she will be coming for 20-25 days.
I have heard conflicting stories to show the pregnancy or not.
We were thinking of stating that the daughter is pregnant and she would like to visit to see her for 20-25 days from emotional and moral support point of view.
The other alternative is, we just show she wants to visit this summer and spend time with her daughter and grand daughter (our 1st child who is 2 years old).
Any view would be greatly appreciated

do not mention pregnancy and the reasons around it. That has always led to visa refusal for my case.

Is your mother intending to visit for 2-3 months, or 20-25 days. :?: If she stays for longer than the time specified in her visitor visa application, this may have a negative impact on future visa applications.
