Skilled worker dependent and child linking code

Gradaute route dependent is now making an application for skilled worker dependent, as main applicant already got skilled worker visa .
While making application after scanning brp it ask, does anyone else applying?
In our case yes a 3.5 year old kid is also applying.
It gives linking code to put in child application.
The problem is child is less than 4 so does not have biometric and have to do the application the old way ( without brp scan).
Child application has no place where it asks for linking code, it took all the parents details but no linking code.

We are worried if we dont put linking code, HO will try to find link code application but will not get it as there is no place it asks for child dependent visa.
