Skilled worker visa - from outside UK

Hello,

I have a job offer from a company in UK and will be looking to apply for a skilled worker visa in the coming days given I get the COS is granted ( The company has already applied for the defined COS, waiting for a decision) . With the new immigration rules announcement that was made yesterday, I am slightly concerned how this will affect the application process for me. Please can someone advise when these changes will come into effect?

There was no change to the rules for now. So I can't see a reason for your current application to be different.
