evisa to passport link stuck any suggestion?

Hi all,

I am trying to link my evisa to my passport however it has failed the automated check and entered the details manually now it says "You cannot make this change now
We are still processing your recent request to change your personal information.

You will be able to make new changes to your personal information after we let you know the outcome of your recent request."

It has been like this for a few days and I will be travelling soon, I understand that I can generate share code and get onto the flight at departure point however I am worried about the immigration issues in the UK if the passport is not linked. The call centre agent says wait for a few days however I am a bit worried about it all.

Any advice on the same would be appreciated

Why should you be worried about immigration at the UK when you arrive. They own the system. If anyone can find out your immigration status, who better than the person with the master key? The call centre agent says wait for a few days however I am a bit worried about it all.
