Mother visa within Uk

Post by whatislife786 » Mon May 26, 2025 5:05 pm

Hi guys,
I need a suggestion on behalf of my friend.
My friend is living in Uk last 20 years. He and his kids and wife are British national.
His mum, three married brothers and 3 married sister were living in Pakistan.
Mum visited uk last year when she had got visit visa for 6 months. She returned back after 5 months. She applied for two years multiple visit visa and came back to uk.
In the meantime other three married brothers got their skilled worker visas for Uk.
Now All four brothers are living in the uk with their wives and kids. Mum is still in the uk on visit visa. She is 80 years old and scared to go back as there is no one now to look after her. She is not in a position to live alone.
All married sisters are living with their husbands.
She is patient of high and low blood pressure and diabetes. She can not live alone as all 17 family members (sons, daughter in laws and kids) are here in Uk.
Would you please suggest what and how she could apply to live here in Uk with family?

There isn't a visa pathway for the mother in the circumstances that you have described.

What the family will need to do is likely go through a process similar to the one in this post and spend a lot of time, money and emotional stress towards keeping the mother in the UK.
