Expired Passport

Hello
I have been on ILR for 12 months received via Tier2 /Skilled visa in May 23 2024. I am planning to start application process for British citizenship . My indian passport expired on 25 March 2025 and i have not renewed it. Is it a requirement to a valid passport for application of British citizenship ? or can i apply British citizenship with expired passport.

You can apply with an expired passport. Depending on the time elapsed since expiry best to include a document proving residency for that time, pay slips covering the period for example.
