Proof of Cohabitation for UK Spouse Visa Renewal – Bank Statement Name Issue.

I’m a UK citizen renewing my wife’s UK spouse visa (Vietnamese citizen, arrived Aug 2023). We're both living together in the UK. We moved house shortly after, so she’s not on early utility bills. Her bank statements show our shared address, but her name order differs from her passport (corrected later). Can I explain this in a cover letter, or should I use Companies House letters (both directors, correct names) as cohabitation proof instead? Thanks!`

You can explain that in a cover letter. You need to use address from more than 3-4 sources. The more the better in my opinion.

At the end of the day, you only have what you have.

At the end of the day, you only have what you have.

Any idea if mortgage agreement in principle letters would be accepted? It is technically from a bank but it is of course not an agreement. No big worries if not, but it fills a gap where there is currently a few months we have no proper evidence for.
