Category B Question for ILR online application

I wanted to ask for some help as I am completing the online application form for my wife’s ILR. My wife does not have any income to qualify so I am sponsoring her. I have documented evidence of my salary over the threshold from earlier this year (not been working for the last 10 months, however the last 2 months salary from my old job is over the £18,600 minimum).

I have only just received a job offer yesterday so that’s why I’m doing her application now under the Cat.B option. The question I have is how do I enter that into the form because I do not start my job until the 1st July and it won’t let me set a future date.

I have put the date as the 2nd June which is when I received the job offer however I’m concerned because I haven’t technically started my role and it’s asking me for a letter confirming my salary or showing my salary going into my bank account for the new role. I understand the job offer letter will suffice as proof of future employment, however I am at a loss as to how I enter this into the application form correctly.

I’d appreciate any advice on how I can navigate this because obviously I don’t want to enter anything incorrectly onto the form.

You cannot rely on a job offer to satisfy the finical requirements for a person residing in the UK !
