English language requirement

Post by sankunni » Sat Jun 14, 2025 7:47 pm

Could you please clarify a doubt
While filling the application, there is a question
Do you have a previous visa, entry clearance, or leave to remain where you had to prove your knowledge of English? which, I answered yes, as my partner came on a skilled worker visa when she arrived in uk for the first time and she met the language requirements for the Visa.

There is an additional question
Did you meet the knowledge of English requirement as part of an indefinite leave application made on or after 28 October 2013?

Should I answer yes or no to this question, as she was not required to prove it for ILR for the reason mentioned before.

Answer Yes. You will need to provide all the details of the exam and the certificate too.

No need to declare it. You were offered the course which means you didn't receive a FPN.
