Hi All,
I am filling my ILR application and have a couple of questions.
Visa Issue Date - 29th July 2020
Entry Date in the UK - 28th September 2020
Since 29th July 2020 till 7th Feb 2025 I was with Employer 1 and after that I am with employer 2.
Questions
1. When did you first enter the UK?(This is the date you entered the UK when the period of stay you are basing this application on started.) ? - I know the continuous stay starts from the visa issue date (29/07/2020) and I am basing my application on that but the question asks the entry date. A bit confused which date to fill.
2. Do you have a biometric residence permit (BRP)? (This includes expired BRPs if the expiry date was less than 18 months ago.) ? - I don't have a BRP issued for my current visa with Employer 2 as I only have an e-visa. Should I provide old BRP which was associated with the old visa with Employer 1? It asks for expired BRPs but mine is not valid now as it was associated with the old employer.
Thanks in advance.

Answer the simple question. Date you entered the UK. No need to complicate it. The form could ask for you grandparents name and date of birth, that doesn't mean your application is based on that. It's data.
2.

I'm sure you know that the HO know that "they" don't issue BRP's anymore. The question clearly asks you that even if it expired 18 months ago. Stay with the simple questions and stop overthinking possible scenarios.
Thanks in advance.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

Thanks for your response.
Another quick question - I was on paternity leave for 2 weeks in 2022. Do I need to mention that anywhere in the application or provide any kind of documentation for that?
I don't think so but I was suggested this by a friend so just want to confirm.
Thanks in advance,
Mohit

No need to mention that.
Unless perhaps you were absent from the UK during those two weeks. In that case it counts as an absence from the country.
